Why "Emmanuel"?
Emmanuel means "God with us". The Gospel of Matthew gives Jesus this name: "they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us" (Matthew 1:23, KJV, quoting Isaiah 7:14). The app is a small, daily reminder of that promise.
How it works
- Open the app and tap "Talk to Jesus". Type, or hold the microphone and speak.
- Jesus replies by text and voice, gently and briefly, often with a fitting verse or parable, and remembers what you shared before.
- Each day, take a one-minute prayer, a three-minute reflection or a line in your gratitude journal. Each one earns Grace Points and keeps your streak going.
Features
- Talk with Jesus by text or voice. Share what is on your heart by typing or speaking, and get a gentle, Scripture-shaped reply that remembers your earlier conversations.
- Daily prayer. A guided one-minute prayer to bring your hopes, worries and the people you love to God.
- Quiet reflection. Three calm minutes to reflect on love, mercy and forgiveness.
- Gratitude journal. Write down the gifts of the day. Entries stay on your phone.
- Daily encouragement. A Bible verse or short encouragement each day, ready to share with family and friends.
- Grace Points and daily streaks. Grace Points celebrate your daily habits of prayer and reflection, and a daily streak helps you keep going.
A companion, not a replacement
